Orr's Island is wonderful place to come and enjoy the Maine coast at its finest. Only 20 min. from Brunswick and 1 hr. from Portland, but feels miles away once you arrive.
A quiet cottage on the water, quintessential Maine coast for swimming, fishing, and tide pooling. Enjoy the morning sun, drinking your coffee on the deck overlooking the water, listening to the lobster boats pulling their traps, and keeping an eye out for eagles flying by. In the evening watch the moon rise out of the water, and enjoy the incredible view of the stars and the milky way.
New this year, we have a second cottage, Barnacle, which is available to rent. This has been in the family for years, and has just had a renovation to redo the kitchen and bathroom. This may be the 8th renovation, and it still retains some of the charm and character from the earlier earlier changes. It is only 50' from the high tide line, and a wonderful place for a family and friends to connect with nature and enjoy the Maine coast!
